How can you help?
A little goes a long way in Tanzania. For example:
- $20 (£12) - Feeds one child for one month
- $50 (£28) - Provides medical care for one child for one year
- $150 (£83) - Pays complete primary school fees (tuition, fees, uniform, school lunch, etc.) for one child
- $348 (£178) - Provides full care for one child for a year (school, clothing, food, medical care, and counseling)
If you wish to help, here are all the Amani helping details.

Friends of Amani (UK) is a registered British charity (#1107618). Donations are tax-free and eligible for Gift Aid. Friends of Amani (UK) transfers 100% of donations received to Amani Children’s Home.
If you have earmarked your donation for a specific need, we will use your gift in the way you have specified. If not, your donation is used to meet our most urgent need, such as food, medicine, school fees. Because Amani is a small, grass-roots charity, there is no “overhead” - 100% of your donation goes directly to help the children at Amani. Amani’s accounts are kept in conjunction with a British accountant from the Board of Trustees to ensure that all contributions are responsibly used for the benefit of the children.
